Our dog is also exactly the same way about food and her counter manners. She puts her front paws on the counter, looks but never touches anything. We have left a dinner plate with a steak on a coffee table. She could easily eat it, but never touches it because we didn't give it to her. We never trained her to be so polite so it must be a inbred instinctive behavior.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8974376477628696344.post-50001576247329773302011-09-03T22:02:22.962-04:002011-09-03T22:02:22.962-04:00Good article Moose!Good article Moose!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8974376477628696344.post-19517445600582080572011-08-31T12:33:41.299-04:002011-08-31T12:33:41.299-04:00Thank you Anadæ! One thing people have to consider when they're getting one of the more important breeds is that if they aren't committed to keeping them intellectually challenged, they're in for a rough time of it. Chaser in the article is so intelligent because he lucked into an owner who was able to give him that stimulation, both mentally and physically.

Lucky Dog!

Now since Blogger doesn't want to take my comments directly, we'll try Anonymously! Something to remember for all who stop by your blog, the McNab was 1st 'created' by the introduction to a Scottish Border collie the Basque shepherd of Spain, the latter breed already charged … for centuries at that … with guarding the Spanish armada & fishing vessels. Hence, McNabs love companionship, something to do, and most definitely swimming, when given the opportunity. All others please take note of this Border collie's intelligence. Since the McNab breed is genetically half BC, anyone considering adopting a McNab must expect an exceptionally respectful, responsive, & fiercely intelligent companion, one whom you'll have been proud to add to your familyAnadæ Quenyan Effrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16099936811529384432noreply@blogger.com
