Flea Market today at the Shoppes of Wilton Manors

Starting at 9 AM, the monthly flea market will begin.

This is an event that draws people from near and far and as soon as I can get my act together, I'll be going.  It is one of the benefits of living in a small city that I can walk over to the Shoppes and see my neighbors both Residential and Commercial and get caught up on some of the gossip.  There will be an interesting mix of things there from Food to Pets to Tchochkes and other things you can't live without like the furnishings for your Mid Century room in the house.

I don't have one either, the houses here are too small!

The address is 2230 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL 33305.  Actually that is the address of the wonderful coffee shop Java Boys and there you can find all sorts of excellent baked goods and the proprietor Nikki Rose who will be happy to greet you and make your time here in Wilton Manors a little sweeter.  If you are from out of town I did find a video that shows the inside of the place, although the sound is shot. I did not find a link to Java Boys.  I can tell you that Nikki has done an excellent job with her Husband of running the place.  I've always found the staff to be friendly and outgoing even at 630AM when I walk past there with the dog half asleep.   Me half asleep, not them or my dog...  I do recommend their Red Velvet cake and this is coming from an enthusiastic baker.

Get there early, today's going to be a hot one, 90 and sunny!
